The Regulator for Energy and Water Services offers a variety of incentive schemes to help residential users and non-profit organizations reduce energy consumption and, consequently, lower their energy bills.
Other initiatives include well restoration projects aimed at reducing water consumption by enabling the use of collected rainwater for irrigation and such second-class water for toilet flushing.
The latest addition is the Tap Water Scheme, through which REWS supports the use of carbon filters to improve the taste of potable tap water, encouraging more residents to make use of tap water for daily consumption.
