INVITATION TO BID (ITB) FOR SUPPORT FOR ELECTRICITY FROM INSTALLATIONS PRODUCING ELECTRICITY FROM RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES WITH A CAPACITY TO EQUAL OR LARGER THAN 1000KW

The Regulator for Energy and Water Services on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Regeneration of the Grand Harbour will be receiving bids for the award of financial support for electricity generated from new Installations producing electricity from renewable energy sources with a capacity equal to or larger than 1000kW from 26th April 2024 (noon) and until 3rd May 2024 noon(CET) noon(CET).
Bids shall be submitted only by email to ITBMWplus@rews.org.mt and bidders are to follow the instructions in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) document. The email ITBMWplus@rews.org.mt.mt shall be used solely for the submission of bids and any other correspondence related to this ITB shall be sent by email to regulator@rews.org.mt.
The total capacity offered in this invitation to bid is 38,000kW.
Kindly note that a clarification virtual meeting in connection with the invitation in caption planned for Tuesday, 12th March 2024 at 10.00am. Participation in this meeting will be by invitation and prospective bidders interested to participate in this meeting shall inform the Regulator for Energy and Water Services by email by 10.00am of Monday 11th March 2024 to regulator@rews.org.mt.
The Ministry for the Environment, Energy, and Public Cleanliness reserves the right to refuse even the most advantageous offer.
