INVITATION TO BID (ITB) FOR SUPPORT FOR ELECTRICITY FROM INSTALLATIONS PRODUCING ELECTRICITY FROM RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES WITH A CAPACITY TO EQUAL OR LARGER THAN 1000KW

The Regulator for Energy and Water Services on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Enterprise will be receiving bids for the award of financial support for electricity generated from new Installations producing electricity from renewable energy sources with a capacity equal to or larger than 1000kW from 22nd May 2023 noon(CET) and until the 30th May 2023 noon(CET).
Bids shall be submitted only by email to ITBMWplus@rews.org.mt and bidders are to follow the instructions in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) document. The email ITBMWplus@rews.org.mt shall be used solely for the submission of bids and any other correspondence related to this ITB shall be sent by email to regulator@rews.org.mt.
The total capacity offered in this invitation to bid is 19,000kW.
Kindly note that a clarification virtual meeting in connection with the invitation in caption planned for Wednesday 1st March 2023 at 10.00am. Participation in this meeting will be by invitation and prospective bidders interested to participate in this meeting shall inform the Regulator for Energy and Water Services by email by 10.00am of Tuesday 28th February 2023 to regulator@rews.org.mt
The Ministry for the Environment, Energy, and Enterprise reserves the right to refuse even the most advantageous offer.
