Grants on the purchase of electric vehicles – 2008 Call
This scheme is no longer active.
Electric-powered cars may qualify for a grant of 20% on the purchase price of the car subject to a maximum grant of €2329.
Details of the grant may be obtained from Government Notice 607 of 2008.

Applications forms the grants are to be submitted to the Malta Resources Authority within 3 months from the date of purchase of the equipment or products. Electric Vehicle Application Form
The following information is required to be submitted with the application form:
- A copy of the Identity card of the applicant.
- A copy of the vehicle logbook.
- A copy of the driving license of the applicant.
- The original fiscal receipt of the purchase of the electric-powered car.
