Review of standard authorisation conditions in regard to retail of portable cylinders filled with LPG, by distribution vehicles.
In compliance with Regulation 18 of the S.L. 545.20 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Market Regulations, the Regulator for Energy and Water Services (REWS) is issuing a notification as part of an essential review of the existing regulatory framework that oversees the retail of liquefied petroleum gas via portable cylinder distribution by vehicles. The purpose of this review is to consider amendments to the General Conditions of Authorisation for such operations.
The anticipated benefits of this amendment include heightened public safety and a reduction in the inconvenience caused to residents and commercial establishments. As part of the consultative process, REWS invites public stakeholders to offer their input, which will be vital in shaping the final changes to the General Conditions of Authorisation.
