CORONA VIRUS – SERVICES AT REWS’ OFFICES

NOTICE – COVID-19

The Regulator for Energy and Water Services has the well-being of its employees, customers and the general public as its top priority and is actively monitoring and following developments related to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). In the light of ongoing directives issued by the Health Authority and developments,  the Regulator for Energy and Water Services is updating  and implementing the following precautionary measures and procedures:

  • Meetings with the general public and customers are being limited as much as possible and these are being accepted only by prior appointment and as considered necessary and urgent.  In all other cases, customers are requested to use telephone facilities to contact our offices.
  • Any person turning up for a meeting without a prior appointment will not be attended to.
  • Face masks are required to be worn by visitors when attending REWS’ offices.
  • Payments by cash are not being accepted. Payments should be made by cheque or other means.

The Regulator for Energy and Water Services is requesting customers and members of the public to make use of alternative channels of communication such as email, telephone and videocalls instead of physically coming to the Regulator’s offices.
