Retailer and Product Registration – Roof Insulation and Double Glazing
The registration of retailers for participation in grant schemes is administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services. The registration process aims to achieve a certain level of standard and provides for a level playing field for all market players.
The registration process is governed by Government Notice 409 of 2012.
The application form must be completed and submitted to the REWS prior to the participation in any of the grant schemes offered by REWS.

- Application Form – to be completed before participation as a retailer in any of the grant schemes administered by REWS.

- Details of the Identity card of the applicant or Company of the applicant;
- Handwritten signature of the applicant required on the application form;
- Water and Electricity invoice issued by ARMS Ltd for the project location.
Technical details of the equipment, including thermal conductivity.

No specific period for processing of applications is established at law. Generally, an application is determined by the Regulator within 1 weeks upon submission of a complete application form.
In general, the Maltese Administrative Law establishes that in the absence of a reply this is construed to be tantamount to a refusal and the applicant has a right to appeal.
Any decision taken by the Regulator, including refusal of an application for or withdrawal of an authorisation or a licence, may be subject to appeal before the Review Committee and any other means of redress as established by the Law.
