INVITATION TO BID (ITB) FOR THE AWARD OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR ELECTRICITY FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES OF ENERGY INSTALLATIONS WITH A CAPACITY FROM 40kW UP TO LESS THAN 200kW

The Regulator for Energy and Water Services on behalf of the Ministry for Energy, the Environment and the Regeneration of the Grand Harbour will be receiving bids for the award of financial support for electricity generated from installations producing electricity from renewable energy sources with a capacity from 40kW up to less than 200kW as from 5th October 2026 (noon CET) and until 12th October 2026 (noon CET).
Bids shall be submitted only by email to procurement@rews.org.mt and bidders are to follow the instructions in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) document. The email procurement@rews.org.mt shall be used solely for the submission of bids and any other correspondence related to this ITB shall be sent by email to regulator@rews.org.mt.
The total capacity offered in this invitation to bid is 2,500 kW. The Ministry for Energy, the Environment and the Regeneration of the Grand Harbour reserves the right to refuse even the most advantageous offer.
